Cheese Makes This Dip Creamy, Bacon Makes It Delicious!

There are a number of ways to dress up a meal but perhaps one that is a favorite in many households is a dip appetizer. When you put dip on the table along with some crackers or vegetables for dipping, it is going to disappear very quickly. That is especially true when it is delicious, and this cheesy bacon dip is sure to fill that role.

Cheese dip is always a favorite and it is the cheese that makes it creamy for dipping. Adding bacon to cheese dip just makes it even more delicious and you can pair this particular dip with anything from a roasted beget to some celery slices. Something else that you will appreciate about this recipe is the fact that it is so simple. You can throw it together in a matter of minutes and put it in the oven while you finish the rest of your dinner. Just make sure you make enough for the entire family.

Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
½ cup sliced green onion

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and green onion. Spoon mixture into a 1-quart baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is bubbling and hot.

Serve with bread slices, crackers, or veggies.
