The Tastiest, Most Delicious Chicken Recipe Ever

Chicken is a family favourite all over the world, due in no small part to its delicious taste, versatility, and low cost. The only issue with chicken if you have it on a regular basis, is coming up with different recipes and cooking styles to prevent it becoming boring.

I am always hunting for new recipes for chicken as it is probably my favourite meat, and I recently discovered this one. Chicken should always be moist and juicy, and this recipe certainly ensures that will be the case. Whilst buttermilk may not garner the best of reputations in terms of healthy eating due to its heaviness, rich buttermilk is a fantastic product to cook in. This delicious buttermilk marinade is so easy to make, and just wait until you taste the chicken after the marinade has soaked in. It may well be the most delicious tasting chicken you have ever tried. The other huge benefit is that you can easily mix up the marinade inside five minutes in the morning, and then allow the chicken to soak for the rest of the day, whilst you are at work. When you come home, simply put the chicken in the oven, and prepare for your taste buds to have a taste extravaganza.

BUTTERMILK MARINADED CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
– One whole chicken, cut into parts
– 2 cups buttermilk
– Fresh dill
– Lemon zest
– Salt
– Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, buttermilk, zest, dill, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours (or up to 24 hours).
2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Remove chicken from marinade and pat dry. Roast chicken on a rimmed baking sheet until cooked through, about 25 minutes.
