Try This Delicious Crispy Baked Honey Sriracha Chicken Drumstick Recipe

One of the many types of food that make it into our home on a regular basis is chicken. In fact, many families enjoy it so much that they make it multiple times every week. It’s a healthier choice than red meat and it tends to be more economical and more diverse in the way that you can make it. Some people enjoy it baked, fried, broiled and grilled, just to name a few.

Although I’ve tasted many different chicken recipes in my time, this chicken baked honey sriracha drumstick recipe is one of my new favorites. It is a perfect way to mix things up during the week and try something different for a change. Of course, it’s also very easy to put together so you can be enjoying this delicious recipe in no time at all.

Ingredients:

5 chicken drumsticks
Pinch of salt and pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup Sriracha
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with tin foil and top wire cooling racks so your chicken can cook more evenly and not get stuck to the sheet. Use baking spray on your wire racks to help the cleaning process.

In a large bowl sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper onto your chicken drumsticks.

Put the cornstarch over top and mix up the drumsticks until all of them are evenly coated.

Put your chicken onto the baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy. Usually it will be able 45-50 minutes.

While you cook the chicken you can prepare your sauce. Melt butter into the sauce pan, adding the honey and Sriracha stirring until combined.

When your chicken is cooked, brush the Sriracha-honey mixture over the drumsticks and enjoy!
