Sometimes we just want to grab a cookie and eat it but that doesn’t mean we want to take the time to throw a batch together and bake them. Fortunately, you don’t need to worry about the baking any long because you have these delicious salted caramel no-bake macaroons. They are so easy to make, you might just find that you are making them every day.
Desserts come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, however, it’s good just to grab something bite sized and pop it in your mouth. This is the perfect recipe for those occasions. Not only are they fun to eat, they are the perfect blend of caramel and coconut. Try making a batch of these for your family and see what happens. Once you put them out, they are going to pull an amazing disappearing act and leave your family asking for more.
3 tablespoons milk
6 tablespoons salted butter
11 ounce bag of caramels (about 40 individual caramels)
4 cups shredded sweetened coconut
4 ounces melting chocolate
Sea salt (optional)
Add your milk to a sauce pan over a medium heat.
Add the butter and the caramel and stir until all the caramels are melted.
Once melted, add in the shredded coconut and fold it in until it is all coated in caramel.
Scoop out tablespoon sized spoonfuls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Once they have hardened, melt your chocolate and dip each macaroon into it coating part of it.
If you want to add some sea salt on top, sprinkle it onto it now. Let the chocolate harden then enjoy!
