Caramel Apple Pie Cheesecake Shooters Are Better Than Apple Pie

When it comes to seasonal dishes, you really can’t beat what apples bring to the table. It doesn’t matter if you are talking about apple cobbler or apple pie, you have a flavor that is classic for the fall weather. Of course, you also have other options to choose from as well, and cheesecake is one that is always good for the dessert menu.

When you see this recipe, you will realize that you don’t need to decide on one or the other. It is for caramel apple pie cheesecake shooters and the combination of the flavors is going to be a favorite in your household. In addition, they are a small dessert, so you don’t have to overdo it (but you can eat 2 if you want).

4 cups granny smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup apple butter
2 cups heavy whipping cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened

Directions:

In a large skillet, add the butter and let melt. Add the apples and stir it for about 5 minutes or until apples are softer.

Pour the entire mixture into a dish and cover. Refrigerate until cool.

In a bowl, beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks being to form. Set aside.

In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and caramel together until smooth.

Fold in the whipping cream until combined.

Now that all of your ingredients are prepared you can begin to assemble your shooters!

Take 1-2 tbsp of the cream cheese mix, then add 1-2 tbsp of the apples. Repeat until you get to the top of the glass, ending with apples on the top.
