What Could Be Better Than Deep Fried Cookie Dough?

There are many different unique flavors that may find their way onto our dessert plate on a regular basis. One of those flavors is cookie dough and even if it isn’t baked into a cookie, it is still a yummy treat that we are going to appreciate. We may enjoy that flavor and ice cream or perhaps we just enjoyed taking a piece of cookie dough and eating it.

If you are someone that has a real love for cookie dough, these deep-fried cookie dough balls are going to be the ultimate treat. They are the perfect way to relax and enjoy a sweet treat that is rather unique. Try these once and you may just fine that you are coming back to this recipe often.

Ingredients:

Premade chocolate chip cookie dough
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
3 cups vegetable oil, for frying
Melted chocolate or caramel topping – optional
Powdered sugar – optional

Directions:

Heat your frying oil to 375 degrees.

Start by rolling your cookie dough into balls using an ice cream scoop.

Place them on a tray and put in the freezer.

While they are freezing up, mix your flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl.

Add the milk and oil and whisk until smooth.

Dunk each dough ball into the batter and make sure they get coated evenly.

Place the coated dough balls into your heated frying oil and fry until golden.

Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel drizzled on top or you can even sprinkle on some icing sugar!
