This Slow Cooker Parmesan Honey Pork Roast Makes A Great Meal

Many of us tend to lead busy lives and, although we may want to have a delicious meal in the evening, something simple is often where we find ourselves residing. That is going to change, however, when you learn to use your slow cooker the right way. It doesn’t matter if you are a whiz with a crockpot or not, this slow cooker Parmesan honey pork roast is going to be a fantastic meal.

If you have not yet acquainted yourself with your crockpot, tonight is the night to do so. Put this in the crockpot when you leave for work in the morning and you will be greeted in the evening with the ultimate meal.

Ingredients:

4 pounds boneless whole pork loin roast
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tables spoons dried basil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water

Directions:

In a bowl, add the honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, olive oil, and salt and whisk it until combined.

Put your pork into your slow cooker and pour the sauce over top.

Cover and cook on low heat for 5.5 – 6 hours.

When it’s done, pull out the pork and cover with foil. Set aside.

Put the sauce from the slow cooker into a saucepan and bring to a liquid boil.

Add in the corn starch and mix in.

Pour in the water and stir for two minutes or until thickened.

Cut pork into slices and pour sauce over top.
