Ingredients:

3-4 pounds of boneless pork roast
2 cans of root beer
1 sweet onion, cut into large chunky pieces
1 cup brown sugar, divided
3-4 tablespoons minced garlic
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
1 package of large rolls or buns

Directions:

Start by adding the roast into the slow cooker and pouring the two cans of root beer over top.

Add in the onions.

And 1/2 cup of brown sugar.

Stir the liquid up a bit so the sugar dissolves into the liquid. Then add salt and pepper to taste, and the rest of the brown sugar.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Pull the roast out of the slow cooker and use forks to pull apart the meat.

Add the meat into a skillet along with 1/4 cup of the slow cooker liquid, 1 cup of the onions, the garlic, and the barbeque sauce. Cook on a medium high heat until warm.

Serve on your rolls and enjoy!
