Tex-Mex Taco Spaghetti Is The Ultimate Quick Dinner

When it comes to making dinner, many families tend to go for something that is relatively simple. Many of us live busy lives and we want something delicious on the table but we don’t have a lot of time to get it ready to serve to our family. That is why we tend to choose something simplistic, such as spaghetti or maybe a Tex-Mex taco. They are a delicious choice but not very time-consuming to make.

If your family loves tacos and can’t wait for spaghetti night, it’s time to combine those recipes into this Tex-Mex taco spaghetti. You may not have ever thought about combining Tex-Mex with Italian food but once you taste it, you will see that it is a match made in heaven. Try this one for yourself and you will see that it is a constant hit at your family dinners.

Ingredients:

8 ounces spaghetti
1 pounds lean ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
2/3 cup water
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.

In a large skillet cook ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain fat. Return meat to skillet. Add taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine. Cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in Velveeta and tomatoes. Reduce heat to low, and cook until the cheese melts, stirring constantly.

Stir in cooked spaghetti and pour into prepared dish. Top with cheddar cheese.

Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through.
