This Bourbon Chicken Recipe Is Very Easy To Make

Of course, it can be expensive and the drive to pick up the Chinese food is not always the best. That is why this bourbon chicken recipe is so perfect. It gives you the taste of Chinese but in a homemade form. You are going to love how simple this recipe is to make.

Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 tsp ginger
3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 apple juice
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce

Directions:

Heat oil in a large skillet, then add your chicken pieces in.

Once all the chicken is cooked, remove all the pieces from the skillet, leaving the remaining oil. Then add water, brown sugar, apple juice, cider vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, red pepper flakes, garlic and ginger and stir.

Let it come to a boil, then add your chicken back in, and heat until it boils again.

Serve over rice and enjoy skipping the takeout!
