This Cheesy Tot Skillet Is Fantastically Delicious

I don’t know about you, but I think that adding cheese to almost any meal is going to make it absolutely fantastic. It doesn’t matter if it is a toasted cheese sandwich or anything Italian, it is something that is welcome on my table at all times. From time to time, however, we find a dish that goes over the top and that is what you see with this cheesy tot skillet.

Like any skillet meal, this recipe is easy to throw together but don’t let the simplicity fool you. Once you put it on the table, it is absolutely going to amaze everyone who takes a bite and you will be surprised with how quickly it disappears. In fact, it may just be time to invest in a second skillet so you can have enough for yourself.

Ingredients:

1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
¾ cup frozen sweet peas
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 bag (16 ounces) frozen tater tots

Directions:

Heat oven to 425 degrees.

In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, cook beef over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain. Stir in cheese sauce. Layer frozen peas and cheese on top of beef mixture. Top with even layer frozen potatoes.

Bake about 25 minutes or until potatoes are crispy and golden brown and mixture is bubbling.
