This Toasted Marshmallow Cream Pie Is An Awesome Dessert

It can be difficult sometimes to get the entire family together to sit down for a meal. It seems to be somewhat of a lost art, and many of us regret the fact that we don’t have that together time with those that we care about the most. If you would like to get your family together for dinner, making this toasted marshmallow cream pie is the perfect way to do so.

Toasted marshmallows are one of those treats that most of us enjoy but we rarely ever have the opportunity to enjoy it. When the outside becomes brown and caramelized, it just does something to the marshmallow that makes it even more delicious. You can now enjoy that flavor in the form of a pie, and you will find that there is nothing better on the face of the earth. Add the fact that it has a graham cracker crust and the flavor will put you over the top.

Ingredients:

1 Graham Cracker Crust

For the filling

40 standard size marshmallows
3/4 cup cream or half and half
2 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
1 12 ounce container of Cool Whip
Culinary torch (optional)

Directions:

In a large pot, heat up the cream and melt in the marshmallows, stirring to combine.

In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese to get some air in it and make it soft. Add the slightly cooled marshmallow mixture into the cream cheese and blend.

Fold in the Cool Whip and pour it into the crust.

Stick the pie into the fridge for about an hour or so to set up.

While it’s cold, you can gently torch the top of the pie for that authentic toasty taste (optional).

If desired, stick the pie into the fridge after torching to firm it up again.
