If you were to take some time and think back to your childhood, you would likely consider a number of different treats that you may have enjoyed during those days. It was such a carefree time for many of us and when we sat down to a nice glass of milk and a plate of cookies, there was really only one choice when it came to the cookies. They absolutely had to be Oreos.

Oreos are a fun treat because you can peel them apart and eat the white out of the middle or you can leave them together and dunk them in a glass of milk. Although you may love Oreo cookies even down to this day, after you see this recipe, you will recognize that they have just entered a whole new level. Try these marbled Oreos once and you may never go back to regular Oreos again.

Ingredients:

1/4 lb white melting chocolate
Chocolate food coloring
Toothpicks
20 Oreos

Directions:

Prepare yourself a flat area with wax paper or parchment paper so your cookies will have a place to go once you are done.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until it is completely melted. Save 1/2 of the melted chocolate in a separate bowl in case you need too add more white in later.

Use a toothpick to swirl some color into the chocolate. Use a couple different colors to really enhance the look.

Dip your Oreo into the swirled chocolate, tap on the edge to remove excess then lay to harden on the wax paper.

Repeat with the rest of the cookies, and let them sit until the chocolate hardens.

You will be left with beautiful and tasty cookies that everyone is going to love!
