The Easter weekend is upon us, and no doubt some of you will be having guests round for a nice hearty meal. For me easter is a time of beautiful spring colours, bright yellow for those Easter chicks, and all the lovely pastels that represent spring. So if we could come up with a dessert that was able to combine those colours with a family favourite, there is a good chance we would be onto something special.
Well with this recipe I think we may well have achieved our goal. Everyone loves cheesecake and for those of us that are keen bakers a cheesecake is relatively easy to make, but tastes great. So with a little bit of thought and some clever use of colours we could have a beautiful cheesecake, that looks as good as it tastes. And once you have learned the process then the only thing stopping you in the future is your imagination. How about a Tie-dye cheesecake in the appropriate colours for the fourth of July weekend, or maybe your teams colours, if they are lucky enough to get to the Superbowl next year.
