Most of us appreciate an easy meal and one of the easier to make is a skillet meal. After all, everything goes into a single pan and when it is done, it can even be served in the pan as well. Although it certainly is possible to make dinner in a skillet, have you ever considered making dessert in a skillet? You are about to see how delicious it can be.
This recipe is for a peanut butter Oreos s’mores skillet and it is going to change the way that you look at s’mores from this point forward. The combination of chocolate chips, peanut butter cups, graham crackers and Oreo is straight out of a storybook. Add some vanilla ice cream and you are ready to go.
Ingredients
8 graham crackers, crushed
1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
5 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
5 Double Stuf Oreos
1/3 cup chocolate chips
4 regular marshmallows, halved
Directions
Cut roll of cookie dough in half.
Press one half into cast-iron skillet.
Line the outside of the skillet with Oreos and Reese’s cups.
Sprinkle chocolate chips in the middle.
Sprinkle crushed graham crackers over layer.
Press remainder of cookie dough over all ingredients to create upper layer.
Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
