What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about dessert? Perhaps you are someone who loves ordering off of the menu, or you may be someone who loves sneaking away and enjoying a sweet treat to yourself. Regardless of what or where you decide to eat something sweet, it is likely that bread pudding is going to be on the menu.
I’ve had all types of bread pudding in my life but I wasn’t prepared for just how delicious this recipe was going to be. It is for strawberry pull apart cheesecake bread pudding and the name pretty much says it all. Never before has so much deliciousness come together on a single plate. Try this one today and you will be smiling until tomorrow.
Ingredients:
1 cup strawberries, diced
1 package of 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set aside a baking pan or a baking dish.
Cut out the top of each bun of dinner rolls.
Break the top of the cut pieces into small pieces, and place them into a medium bowl. Add strawberries to the bowl, then set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla together. Add in milk.
Add the batter into the strawberry mix, and mix until well-combined.
Spoon mixture into each bun. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
