It doesn’t matter if you are biting into a crunchy apple or baking a delicious apple pie, it will always be a welcome treat. Now that I know how to make this apple upside down cake, however, I may never eat an apple another way again!
You’ll Need
– 4 to 5 apples
– 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon butter
– 7 tablespoons sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cake
– About 1/3 cup butter (75 grams), room temperature
– 5 tablespoons sugar
– 3 eggs
– 3 tablespoons sour cream
– Grated peel of 1 lemon
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 teaspoons baking powder
– 11 tablespoons flour
