I have an ongoing love affair with any type of cake but when I saw this nectarine upside down cake being made, I realized that I had found my favorite. Not only is it delicious and fresh tasting, it is moist and is perfect for after dinner, enjoying with friends or even for a late night snack.
There are many traditional upside down cakes and they differ from one part of the world to another. In the United States, pineapple upside down cake is popular but in Brazil, they tend to use bananas. I absolutely love nectarines, so this choice was a no-brainer.
