There are many different types of foods that could make it on to our table on a regular basis. One that seems to make it onto most dinner tables, however, is chicken. It can be made in so many different ways that it seems to never get old and we may find that we are eating chicken several times every week. That doesn’t mean, however, that we don’t want new recipes every once in a while.
If you are a family that loves eating chicken, then this chicken noodle casserole is going to be exactly what you need for dinner. Not only is it delicious, it is quite easy to make so you can whip up a batch in no time at all and serve it to your waiting family. Once you try it, you will be hooked and you might just make this one on a regular basis.
Ingredients:
1 (12-ounce) package egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 (10-ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup milk
½ onion, finely diced
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 ½ cups frozen mixed veggies
1 cup panko bread crumbs
½ cup butter, melted
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
In a mixing bowl, stir together chicken, condensed soup, mayonnaise, water, onion, cheese, and frozen veggies. Gently fold in egg noodles, then pour into the baking dish.
Sprinkle panko evenly over the top, then drizzle over the melted butter.
Bake about 30-35 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
