Salty And Sweet Coconut Macaroons Are The Bomb

They may be somewhat of a tiny cookie but they are popular all around the world and their history can be traced back for hundreds of years. Coconut macaroons are probably among the most popular, and this recipe is certainly well worth knowing. You can make a batch in no time at all and begin to indulge in the salty sweetness that it provides. Just be forewarned that you should make extra, because they are not going to last long. Even if you don’t manage to share them with family or friends, you might just eat them all yourself.

Ingredients

1 can (14 ounces) of condensed milk, sweetened
2 teaspoons of vanilla
5 1/2 cups of sweetened, flaked coconut

Directions

In a bowl, mix the coconut, condensed milk and vanilla.

Stir everything together until it’s well mixed.

Use an ice cream scooper to pick up the coconut and place it on a baking tray, lined with wax paper and coated with non-stick spray.

Bake for 10-12 minutes at 325 degrees.

Once the macaroons are solid they’re ready to enjoy.
