Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler Recipe

There are many reasons to be happy in life but I think one of the best reasons is a great dessert. Sure, there is a lot to be said for the main course and side dishes but when the desert rolls around, everybody is happy!

Of course, there are desserts and then there are those epic dishes that are so delicious, we can’t seem to get enough of them. Included in that mix is peach cobbler, and when it is made properly, it could even be enjoyed as an extremely sweet meal! I’m sure that most people would agree with me that there is nothing better than a good peach cobbler.

If you make it regularly, you already know that it can be difficult and there is more than one recipe to choose from. Once you see this simple recipe, where you just drop things in a crockpot and then take out the cobbler later, it is going to change the way you look at peach cobbler forever.

The world can be a delicious place, and when you add some good cobbler into the mix, you are certain to make everyone smile. Try this recipe for dinner tonight and you will never look back again!

Ingredients:
2 cans of cut peaches (21 oz each)
1 box vanilla cake mix
8 oz butter cut into small chunks
1/3 cup walnuts (optional)
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:
1. Dump the ingredients into your slow cooker, peaches first, followed by cake mix, cut butter, and walnuts. Do not stir or mix. You can also sprinkle in some nutmeg and cinnamon for a warmer flavor.

2. Cover and cook on high for 2 – 2.5 hours.

3. Spoon into a bowl and serve with a scoop of ice cream. While it may not have the crispy layer of a traditional cobbler, it more than makes up for it in flavor and simplicity.
