We always try to provide simple recipes or meals for you to try at home, that’s our basic premise and why we are so passionate about our craft. But sometimes we see something so special, almost magical, that it would simply be wrong to ignore it, or at least, show it to our readers, to give them the opportunity to at least try it should they want to. This certainly falls into that category because not only is the taste beautiful, it does after all, involve chocolate ladies, but t also has an almost magical quality about it.
Basically once finished the dessert looks like a closed up ball that you would place in the centre of a bowl for serving proposes, but when you add custard to the plate it gives the effect of the petals of the flower opening up, and the illusion really is impressive. The actual petal part of the dish is not especially difficult to pull off, and if you really wanted to make things easier you could always put a pre-made cake in the centre of the petals, sure that might be cheating a little but if you won’t tell anyone, neither will we.
