It seems as if everybody enjoys eating nachos of some type or another. They are a fantastic choice for eating out at a restaurant but sometimes, we just want to have them at home. That is where this recipe comes in. It takes regular nachos and makes them spectacular because it uses tater tots on the bottom.
Tater tots are perhaps one of the most beloved breakfast foods. They are fun, easy to make and delicious. Thanks to this recipe, you don’t need to wait for breakfast to enjoy them. Simply layer your pan with tater tots and top it with all of the nacho toppings in this recipe. It is delicious!
Ingredients:
1 package frozen tater tots (32 oz)
1 lb very lean ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
1-2 cups of shredded cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup tomatillo salsa
1/3 cup sliced blacked olives
2 Tablespoons diced cilantro
Directions:
Prepare tater tots according to package.
While they are baking, cooking your ground beef with a package of taco seasoning until beef is browned and cooked through. Set aside.
Once tots are done cooking, removed from oven (but keep oven on) and top with cooked beef and cheese.
Pop back in the oven until cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and top with sour cream, pico de gallo, olives and cilantro.
