There is something simply magical about Brunch. Even the word rolls off the tongue nicely. Brunch for me signifies lazy mornings, maybe in bed, or perhaps it means you have been up early and gone out and completed some exercise or chores. Then it may be a little too early for lunch, but well past breakfast time, so this delightful food choice could fill the gap nicely.
One of the really big benefits of this recipe is that it is prepared in the slow cooker, further adding to the brunch benefits. You could throw this into the cooker prior to going out to complete your activity so that upon your return it is sitting ready and waiting for you to devour it. For those of you who don’t know, you are in for a tasty treat. Strata is an egg and bread mixture that is light, fluffy and extremely delicious.
