Adding a side dish to your tuna sandwiches going to make things even better and this recipe makes things awesome. Dill pickles go with a tuna sandwich perfectly but when you use dill pickle slices as the bread, you will see that it is possible to combine them in the best way imaginable. Ingredients:
1 can tuna
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 pinch dill
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sliced dill pickles
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, dill, and salt and pepper, then chill in the refrigerator about 30 minutes, or until chilled.
Assemble sandwiches with one sliced dill pickle as the bottom, a scoop of the tuna mixture, then add another sliced dill pickle on top, securing with a toothpick. Continue assembling “sandwiches” until all ingredients are done.
Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator until ready to eat. Enjoy!
