How To Make The Most Beautiful Dyed Devil Eggs

St Patrick’s day has been and gone, so now is the time to start focusing on the next celebration, which in this case is Easter. Now if green is the first thing that comes into your mind when thinking of St Patrick, then eggs are probably in the same through process, when you think about Easter. I guess it has to be either eggs or bunnies in relation to food at Easter time.

Kids love the weird and wacky, and these eggs look stunning when they are completed. I honestly don’t want to go into how to make these amazing eggs, but I wanted to let everyone see these eggs for themselves in the video below. And believe me, they actually look even better in real life than on the video.

This is quite possibly the easiest thing to produce that we have ever taught you. The kids will love this, and the adults will be pretty impressed as well. And all you really need is a few drops of food colouring, and your are virtually set. Have a watch of this video and see what you think. I can see a lot of people trying this one. Good luck but I doubt you will need it.

DYED DEVILED EGGS

Ingredients:
– Cups of water (3/4 cup should do)
– Food coloring (any colors you’d like)
– Hard boiled eggs
– Ingredients for deviled eggs (whatever you use; mustard, mayo, ect.)

How to:
1. Use 1 drop of liquid food coloring for each 3/4 cups of water. Any more than that and you will taste the food coloring which is not a pleasant taste.
2. Cut the eggs in half and put the yolks into a bowl.
3. Take the whites and rinse them if you so choose, it doesn’t really matter, and put them into the colored water. Let sit for 30-45 minutes or until desired shade is reached.
4. Drain and rinse the whites with fresh cold water. Let dry somewhat on a paper towel and then fill with the yolk mixture you made while the whites were being colored. Put onto a plate or an egg platter and enjoy!
