Make Your Own Wine Gummy Bears – Delicious And Loads Of Fun

Many of us appreciate a late night snack but we may be looking for something unique, outside of the typical cookie or bag of potato chips. Once you see how to make these white gummy bears that are made with wine, you will know that you found your perfect late night snack and you will always keep some on hand.

This candy is relatively easy to make, but you will need to use the right temperature so that you don’t burn up the alcohol. Once you begin the process, you can have a fresh batch available within an hour and a half, so it is perfect for when that mood for a special snack arrives.

Although you can certainly make these for your late night snack, you may just want to make plenty in advance so that you have them available. They also make a fantastic gift for your wine loving friends.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Wine
½ Cup Sugar
5 Tablespoons or 6 packets of powdered Gelatin
1 drop pink food coloring (if making Rosé Gummy Bears)

Instructions:
1. Place the wine, sugar and gelatin in a saucepan over medium low heat (if you want to keep the alcohol in, make sure to keep under 90 degrees). Whisk for 2-3 minutes or until sugar and gelatin have dissolved. (Stir in the pink food coloring if making Rosé gummy bears)

2. Using a glass measuring cup with a spout, pour the mixture over the gummy bear molds. Use an offset spatula to get rid of the excess and ensure all the molds are filled.

3. Refrigerate for at least 90 minutes.

4. When gelatin has set, bears will easily pop out from mold.

5. Store uneaten wine gummy bears in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
