Slice Up Some Fun With These No Bake Chocolate Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars

When it comes to choosing a dessert, you probably have specific criteria that really makes something a favorite. For me, it has to be a blend of sweetness along with something crunchy and perhaps even just a hint of salt. Of course, it never hurts if it includes chocolate and peanut butter and as always, I want something that is super simple to make.

As it turns out, all of those factors come together quite nicely in this no bake chocolate pretzel peanut butter bar recipe. It has all of the flavors I am looking for and that tiny hint of salt from the pretzels along with a fantastic little crunch. When you top it off with the fact that you don’t have to bake anything in order to make it, it really becomes a favorite very quickly.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
2 cups pretzel sticks, crushed into crumbs
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup + 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Directions:

In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, pretzel crumbs, powdered sugar and 1 cup of the peanut butter until well-combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish, then set aside.

Combine the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate and peanut butter are melted and smooth.

Ensure the mixture is well-combined, then spread over the peanut butter-pretzel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares.
