If there is one thing that is universally true with almost all children, it’s the fact that they enjoy snacking. In addition, once they have the opportunity to snack on something sweet, it seems as if there is no turning back again. Unfortunately, many children tend to eat sugar on a regular basis and this can have serious problems for them now and well into the future.
If you’re ready to liven up the snacks you feed your children and you even feed yourself, you can do so with this easy recipe. It is for yogurt drops, and they are a homemade treat beyond compare. They include healthy ingredients, so you can give them to your children without having to worry about that sugar spike. Try these once and you will be hooked.
Ingredients
Yogurt (we used strawberry, but any flavor will work). You can use as much or as little as you want, but a large container will fill a bowl once they’re frozen.
Directions
Pour your yogurt into a piping bag. It helps if you use a glass to hold the bag open.
Cut the bottom off your bag and squeeze out your drops on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Freeze the tray for 1 hour.
The drops should peel off easily.
You can enjoy these one their own, use them as a topping, or mix with granola, raisins, whatever sounds tasty!
