When it comes to cookies, we are not without options. In fact, when most people try to choose one cookie out of all of those that are available, they might have a difficult time doing so. Admittedly, this is a problem that most of us don’t mind having but it also leads to a rather interesting conclusion. When we are given many options, we tend to fall back on our favorite.
For some people, favorite cookies are chocolate chip. Others may enjoy a snickerdoodle or perhaps even a pecan crunch. Once you try these chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookies, however, you might just need to make room for them at the top of your list. They are not only easy as pie to make, they are super delicious. Try making a batch tonight and you will see that they tend to disappear when they are around.
1/2 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 – 3/12 cup quick cooking oats
Heat a saucepan and add your butter.
Once it starts to melt, add your sugar in.
Pour the milk in as well as the cocoa powder and stir until mixed and bubbling.
Mix in peanut butter, vanilla and add the oats.
Fold it in until fully mixed, then scoop out spoonfuls onto parchment and let cool.
These are absolute perfection. They are perfectly chocolaty and the hint of peanut butter makes it extra creamy. You are going to love these!
