Many of us have enjoyed cucumber sandwiches and certainly, they are a fantastic finger food. For many of us, a cucumber sandwich is a tiny sandwich made out of cucumber and put on bread, cut into smaller pieces. This cucumber sandwich, however, will change the way that you look at this meal from now on.
The recipe is for a smoked turkey sandwich that is made with cucumber. It doesn’t use small slices of cucumber, however, you use an entire cucumber sliced in half as the roll. Sliced deli turkey
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cut down the ends of the cucumber. Slice into long pieces, then cut each piece horizontally to ¼-inch slices to form the flatbread” of the sandwiches.
To assemble the sandwiches, lay out a cucumber slice, then sprinkle on salt and pepper to taste. Spread cream cheese, add turkey, and a sprinkle of dill, then top with another cucumber slice. Add more salt, pepper, and dill, if desired.
