Join These Swimming Peeps For A Dip In The Jell-O Pool This Easter

It’s hard to believe that Easter is just around the corner. It seems as if we were just waiting for December 25 to roll around and then, before you know it, Easter is on the horizon. Of course, there are many fun things that go along with the Easter holiday for kids and adults. We have Easter egg coloring and hunts, lots and lots of chocolate and, of course, marshmallow peeps.

Peeps have been a fun part of spring and the Easter celebration for years. In fact, it just wouldn’t be the same holiday without them. If you are someone who loves celebrations, or if you just love these marshmallow treats, you have got to see this recipe. It puts peeps into a pool of blue Jell-O. They are easy to make, yummy and loads of fun!

Ingredients:

2 boxes blue Jello mix
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water

1 container Cool Whip
Blue food coloring
Yellow marshmallow Peeps

Directions:

1. Empty 2 boxes of blue Jello mix into a mixing bowl.

2. Heat a little over 2 cups of water on the stove until boiling.

3. Once it boils, measure out 2 cups and carefully pour it into the bowl with the Jello mix.

4. Stir well to dissolve the powder, about 1-2 minutes.

5. Add 2 cups of cold water to the bowl, and stir until combined.

6. Divide the Jello among the bowls you want to use.

7. Place them in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until they are completely set.

9. Top each Jello cup with a dollop of dyed Cool Whip and a marshmallow Peep.
