Life is full of a lot of yummy choices but sometimes, things go to the next level. Perhaps that is what you think of when you envision the combination of chocolate and strawberries. There is just something about the juicy strawberry combined with a coating of sweet chocolate that makes it seem as if it were a match made in heaven.
If you are someone who loves that combination, you are going to really want to try these chocolate dipped and filled strawberries. It is the ultimate snack when you put it together and you can’t beat it when you put it on the table after a meal. Try serving these up to your family and see if you don’t get a thankful pat on the back.
Ingredients:
8 strawberries
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
For the filling:
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
5 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
Directions:
Cut a small piece off the bottom of each strawberry to be able to stand them up, then slice off the top and core out the middle.
Dip the bottoms of each strawberry in dark chocolate, then in a small bowl filled with graham cracker crumbs.
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until soft peaks form.
Gently fold in the remainder of the melted dark chocolate until well-combined.
Transfer chocolate cheesecake mixture into a piping bag or ziploc bag, then pipe into each strawberry.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
