EDIBLE LACE EASTER EGGS

Ingredients:
– Candy melts
– Egg molds
– Ziploc bag
– Scissors
– Additional candy (to fill the egg with)

Directions:
1. Fill your Ziploc bag (or piping bag) with the melted candy melts and cut a hole in the corner of the bag.
2. Squeeze out the candy melts inside your half egg mold, overlapping the lines but not enough so that it becomes a solid – you want to create a lace effect. Line the top of your egg mold with a line of candy.
3. Repeat on the other half of your egg mold.
4. Set them in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Gently remove the candy lace from it’s mold.
5. Fill the lace egg with whatever you would like, then line one half of the lace egg with melted candy to glue the two halves together.
