I very much doubt if marbles have ever been mentioned on this website before as an ingredients for a recipe. After all really tough glass balls, are not what most people would call an appetiser. But now that Valentine’s day is a distant memory in our rear view mirror, it’s time to prepare for the next celebration which is St. Patrick’s Day and when you see what the marbles are for, it will all make sense.
Apart from the colour green, and maybe Guinness, the other thing that Ireland and St. Patrick’s day is famous for are shamrocks. So how cool would it be if you were able to make Shamrock cup cakes, to aid with the celebrations? That’s the clever part where the marbles come in as this video will demonstrate.
