This Creamy Delicious Coffee Smoothie Is The Perfect Way To Wake Up In The Morning

Many of us head out the door in the morning on our way to our favourite coffee shop. When we get there, we tend to order something smooth, creamy and delicious. One other thing about it is the fact that it is often overpriced. Yes it is fantastic but when you see how to make this coffee smoothie at home, you will realise that the coffee shop can go.

In the past, I’ve made plenty of fruity smoothies and I consider myself to be somewhat of a smoothie champion. Now that I found out how to make a coffee smoothie, however, I realise that I have been missing something for my entire life. The creamy combination of a smoothie with your morning cup of coffee is going to put you over the edge.

This is a delicious treat but there is one problem you need to know about in advance. It is so delicious that you are going to want to have it each and every morning. In fact, you may never go for an overpriced coffee shop drink ever again.

Ingredients:

1 cup strong brewed coffee
1 banana
1/4-cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

Pour coffee into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender, including the coffee ice cubes and blend until smooth.

Taste for sweetness and adjust accordingly.
