These Delicious Pancake Muffins Make Breakfast Just Right

Breakfast comes in many different forms but one that most of us appreciate is a good stack of pancakes. There is nothing quite like having some flapjacks in front of you, pouring syrup over them and tasting the deliciousness. Of course, many of us also enjoy a good muffin and thanks to this recipe, you don’t need to choose between the two any longer.

If you are ready to take your breakfast to the next level, these pancake muffins are the best way to do so. They are more than a delicious treat, they are the perfect way to enjoy something that has been a part of our breakfast meals for many years. Make these for your family breakfast this weekend and you will find it is a recipe that you continue to go back to, over and over again.

Ingredients:

2 cups pancake mix
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup maple syrup
optional mix-ins

For mix-ins we used chocolate chips, candied bacon, lemon cranberry (lemon zest, pinch of sugar, dried cranberry), and apple pie mix (apples, pecans, cinnamon sugar)Shared Food

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350° Next, mix together pancake mix, milk, eggs and 1/2 cup of maple syrup.

2. Either spray muffin tin with nonstick spray or use muffin liners. Fill 2/3 of the way full. If you are using the mix-ins, do so now. About 1/2 to 1 TB of a mix-in.

3. Bake for 14-15 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted, comes out clean.
