Magical Mini Breakfast Everyone Will Enjoy

Sometimes I like to be just a little naughty and sneak into a McDonald’s for a McMuffin breakfast. They are always so tasty but it’s not always easy to get there and if you had them regularly it could turn into quite an expensive habit. So I put my research skills into finding something similar that I could easily and quickly make at home, and I think I may well have found the magical recipe, which I will share with you below.

These small sliders are surprisingly easy and quick to make, and your kids will also really enjoy them. A little piece of trivia for you, a slider is basically any kind of bite-sized sandwich served on a slider bun. The possibilities with this recipe are endless, with the possibility to add my personal favourite some bacon into the mix. Remember that breakfast is always he most important meal of the day, and when you start making this regularly I have a funny feeling that you won’t have as much trouble getting the family up in the morning. They will be out of bed quickly to ensure they get their fair share of breakfast. Looking forward to hearing people’s experience of these little homemade McMuffins.

BREAKFAST SLIDERS
Serves 2

You’ll Need
– Slider buns
– Breakfast sausage patties
– 2 eggs, scrambled with 1 tablespoon milk
– American cheese

How To

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 Celsius).
In a 6-cup jumbo muffin tin, arrange 2 slider buns and 2 sausage patties, 1 per cup. Spray the remaining 2 cups with non-stick spray and divide the scrambled eggs between the two cups.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the buns from the muffin tin. Flip the eggs and sausage patties.
Bake the sausage and eggs another 6 to 8 minutes, until the eggs are set and the sausage is cooked-through.
Stack the sausage and eggs in the oven-toasted slider buns, topping the eggs with the American cheese.
Tips

If you have multiple jumbo muffin tins, you can – of course! – make as many sandwiches as you need.
In step 3, we sprayed the scrambled egg tops with non-stick spray before flipping because they have a tendency to stick to the tin on the second side.
