How To Make Healthy Chinese Fried Rice And It’s Just As Delicious

Chinese food is one of my all-time favourite foods, I love the variety and delicious tastes and colours. But unfortunately as with so many things in life, one of my favourite dishes fried rice is not particularly healthy for you. Why is it that all the really tasty things in life seem to be bad for you? But the recipe we are going to show you today gives us the opportunity to keep eating that wonderful Chinese dish but in a much healthier way. Ad as if that wasn’t good enough the entire meal only takes 15 minutes to cook.

We are going to substitute the rice for Quinoa which is a superfood, which is one of the few plant foods, that is quantified as a full protein and is also very high in vitamins and healthy minerals. On the flip side, it also has significantly fewer fats and carbs than your normal standard white rice. As a consequence, this is a huge win on both sides of the equation, and the good news is it tastes delicious as well. With this recipe, you get to keep the excitement and taste of your favourite Chinese meal without having to feel guilty about the consequences. Once you try it, you will then be able to add another meal to your healthy food rota, it almost seems like cheating.

For this meal, you’ll want to use a wok. Essentially a skillet with a deep bottom and high walls, this is the perfect tool in which to make the entire helping of quinoa “fried rice”.
